#EltonJohn one last time. Legend. Music History. I remember my first Elton concert when approx. 14: me and my friend sneaked past all the adults towards the front at Waldbühne singing and dancing along while all others stood still. Elton saw us and noticing our age too he especially came over to thank us 🙏.
Later in my life I worked on the marketing for the Stately Home tours of Elton in the UK. After the first of these Elton send a hand-written note per fax to our office thanking the whole team who worked on the shows 🙏 That and many more memories will always be with me. Like Elton’s guest appearance at George Michael’s concert singing Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me together 🎶
